Study for Measurement Methods of Conducted Emission of Communication Ports

As disturbance emitted from information technology equipment (ITE), there are radiated disturbance from apparatus, conductive disturbance at communication ports, measuring method is specified in CISPR Pub. 22. About 8-wire types of impedance stabilizing networks (ISNs) for communication port conductive disturbance measurement, the longitudinal conversion loss (LCL) requirements are changed in the 4th and 5th edition. In this paper, the result examined about the composition of ISN, which satisfies the new requirements of the LCL, is described. And also, the limits of conducted disturbances from of communication ports of ITE are specified in this publication. We investigated the evaluation results of measurement methods using this INS, a 150 ohms resistor and a capacitance voltage probe (CVP) whether each measuring methods are adequate for the evaluation of the conducted disturbance at communication ports from ITE.
