摘要

Periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) predominantly have random duty-cycle (RDC) error, latent in them by virtue of poling mechanism. An estimate of this RDC is essential to avoid parasitic harmonic generation. In this paper, we compare the gaussian beam diffraction-noise spectrum with uniform beam (Dwivedi et al. in Opt. Express 21:30221-30226 (2013) [1]) and highlights an advantages of gaussian beam.
