摘要

Existing calculation methods of Roots pumps main pumping characteristics, their advantages and disadvantages are considered. Method based on energy balance of thermodynamic system of variable mass body for calculation of Roots pump characteristics is proposed. The advantages of the proposed method are considered. In order to expand the scope of the model a workflow model excluding the use of an empirical filling factor has been developed. Calculated indicator diagrams of working process for different inlet and outlet pressures are obtained.
