PURPOSE: A gravity-based filtering method and a variable filtering system using the same are provided to reduce operational controlling loads by preventing the generation of energy consumption due to the use of a separate pump for a filtering operation.;CONSTITUTION: A variable filtering system includes a distributing bath(20), a filtering bath(30), a filtering unit(60), and a discharging bath(40). The distributing bath, the filtering bath, and the discharging bath are successively arranged. The filtering unit for a filtering operation is installed in the filtering bath. Introducing water for the filtering operation is arranged in the distributing bath to flow to the filtering bath. The introducing water is arranged in the discharging bath.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
