摘要

Moth flame optimization (MFO) algorithm is incited from moths which travel in a straight line by making a fixed angle with respect to the moon. This paper focuses on the improved algorithm of MFO (IMFO), which is proposed for the stability enhancement of a power network. The performance of IMFO, MFO and Conventional Power System Stabilizers (CPSS) is compared and studied under the perturbation in the power system. The statistical and graphical analysis verify the superior performance of IMFO over conventional methods.
