Abstract (for reference) Color consistency in an application affects the visual appeal and the customer experience in shops, restaurants, bars and other establishments where people gather. There has been little measurement or specification as to how lighting designers and end-users should consider or evaluate color consistency yet it can have a dramatic effect on the lifetime, value, and confidence in an installation. In this presentation we will investigate the various aspects of color consistency and provide a framework for considering and evaluating this critical factor.
