Analysis and design of micro-ring based switch elements in silicon photonics for optical interconnection

摘要

A two-ring add/drop switch is presented for scalable switching matrix architectures. The device performance is investigated using the transfer matrix method, showing low crosstalks, high out of band rejection and side-lobe suppression.
