摘要

In this paper, it systematically summarizes the fundamental definition of the environmental genomics and its mainstream technological platform as well as its current applications in environmental pollution control and health risk assessment. It also offers a clear relationship between environmental genomics and environmental proteomics, bioinformatics. Environmental genomics provides a valuable insight of the interaction between pollutants and biology at genomic level so that it becomes a neonatal force and technology to detect the variation in the genetic substance so as to bring into control of the environmental contamination and safeguard human health and environmental safety. The research of environmental genomics has been the focus of pollution control and human health as well as environmental safety.
