Research on 540MPa Grade Hot Rolled Dual-Phase Strip Steel in BaoTou CSP Plant

摘要

The development of 540MPa grade dual-phase strip steel in Baotou CSP plant was introduced in the present work. The composition of the dual-phase strip is of C ≤ 0.08wt.%, Si ≤ 0.5wt.%, Mn ≤ 1.8wt.%. The dual-phase strip with the yield strength of 365～375MPa, the tensile strength of 545～570MPa, the elongation of more than 29%, the YS/TS ratio of ≤ 0.67, the n-value of 0.21 and the r-value of 0.98, was developed by using controlled rolling and controlled cooling process. The test dual-phase steel has been used for making beam and frame cover of heavy-duty truck in Baotou No.1 machinery manufactory, Neimenggu, China.
