Bengang Thin Slab Casting and Strip Rolling Practice

摘要

Bengang thin slab casting and strip rolling production line was imported from DANIELI (Italy), BRICMONT (USA) and MITSUBISHI-HITACHI (Japan). Through half a year of production practice, now it has the capability to produce various steel grades, including ULC steel, low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, peritectic steel, HSLA steel (e.g.: X70) and silicon steel etc., with product thickness 0.8mm～12.7mm and width 1000mm～1730mm respectively. When compared with the product from Bengang 1700mm hot rolling mill, the strip-rolling product has smaller crystal granularity, higher strength value, and lower elongation rate. The changing trend of above factors for cold rolling product is similar to it.
