摘要

By using ICT-2000TE (Transpiration-Environment) measurement system which was designed on basis of Thermal Dissipation Method, the spatial variations in xylem sap flow density (SFD) of the dominant arbor species, Abies taxoniana, were studied during growing seasons in 2004 and 2005 in the upper area of Minjiang river, Sichuan province, Southwest China. Meanwhile, through dyeing xylem by FeCI_3 and using SPSS software, the relationship between sapwood thickness and diameter at the breast height as well as the relation among the sap flow density of different depth in radial positions of sapwood of Abies taxoniana were investigated. The research is fundamental to calculate accurately the whole-tree evaportranspiration intensity and the stand water use.
