Clinical treatment of Chinese herbal medicine to lymphoid leukosis virus infection of hens

Lymphoid leukosis virus infection of hens is the most malignant neoplastic disease caused by Lymphoid leukosis virus (LLV). The disease is serious to hens but lack of specific vaccine and drugs. This makes some difficulties in diagnosis and treatment. In this study , traditional Chinese medical science priinciple was used to diagnose and analyse the disease, Chinese herbal medicine such as benefiting spleen and supplementing liver herbs, clearing out heat and internal heat herbs were selected and used to clinical treatment. The result showed that the herbal medicine played an effective action on prevention and treatment of lymphoid leukosis virus infection. The result has also confirmed that Chinese herbal medicine was an useful and new pathway on prevention and cure lymphoid leukosis virus infection for hens. The mechanism of the principle of herbal medicine and traditional Chinese medical science was also discussed in this paper.
