Function and Mechanism of Acupuncture

摘要

The traditional medicine considers that all the illnesses are all caused by the stasis of qi and blood, while needle therapy can ventilate them and moxibustion can warm them. It pointed out that acupuncture has the function of health care and treatment because it can clear and activate the channels and collaterals, activate blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and regulate qi and blood. The fruit of modern researches about the function and mechanism of acupuncture is abundance and it can be reduced to several aspects as following.
