The use of a grafcet model for sequential supervisory control of a multipass experimental rolling mill

The main purpose of this paper is to present a Grafcet Model for a smalescale rolling mill. A real-time control strategy is designed and implemented. The rolling mill with process variables and datalogging system are described and the. Grafcet model is overviewed. The implementation of the model on the rolling mill is described in this paper.
