ON-LINE TRANSIENT STABILITY ASSESSMENT WITH EEAC

摘要

A rigorously quantitative method for on-line transient stability assessment is prerequisite for coordination between economy and security of modem power systems. This method should identify all potentially unstable modes, and recognize dangerous reloading directions. It is also expected to estimate interface flow limits and stability domain in the injection space. Besides, it should be fast enough for tracking system changes. EEAC is just such a tool. This paper presents its on-line applications and experiences.
