We have investigated the electro-optical characteristics of guest host-liquid crystal display (GH-LCD) for transparent LCDs. The contrast ratio and transmittance depend on the dye concentration and the cell gap. To optimize the optical performance, we have studied electro-optical characteristics by change the concentration and cell gap.
