摘要

The fractal characters of granite polished surface profiles were investigated using structure function analysis method by changing sampling length and sampling space. For getting further exact conclusion, three kinds granite are studied which size of crystal grain aren't the same. The influence of sampling length and sampling space on the fractal parameters of the granite surface profiles was discussed. The influence of that on the multi-fractal granite surface profile is studied too. Research indicate that enough long sampling length and enough little sampling space is essential for exactly calculating fractal dimension and suited scale for fractal parameters was determined.
