Well-developed commercial activities can embody urban energy. Nowadays a mass consuming behavior has become an important component of the leisure culture. This essay compares the blossom-decline process of the shopping streets in Changjiang Road and Guilin Road in Changchun. From that this essay analyses the relationship between the change of Commercial Building Mode and many other factors, such as formation reason, humanistic environment, localization, status of transportation, industry's formation, spatial scale and commercial building image. At the end of the essay, it raises the developing direction and reference measure for the shopping streets in this city.
