Discussion on the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and Ecological Construction Strategies for Urban Green Space

摘要

The relation between the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and green space ecological construction is analyzed in this paper. With the goal of making Shanghai into an international city, great opportunities brought by the Expo should be caught and efforts should be made to perfect the ecological construction of Shanghai green space. Achievements of Shanghai urban green space are affirmed in this paper. And the existing problems are also pointed as well. The corresponding countermeasures aiming at naturalization, community structure, layout of green space system and management etc have been proposed in this paper.
