Development of New Retaining Wall Method for the Expansion of Road in Mountain Area

摘要

The new retaining wall using precast concrete members for the expansion of road in mountain area is developed in this paper. The new retaining wall consists of the three pieces, basement, T-block and superstructure. The construction experiment and loading experiment in situ are carried out in this paper. The construction experiment is carried out to verify the safety of construction process in situ. The loading experiment is carried out to load with the dump truck of 250kN on the pavement at the top of retaining wall due to the verification of safety in life time. According to experiments, the safety of the developed new retaining wall can be verified.
