Remediation of the area of coking plant Karolina and its further development

The contribution deals with the renewal of an area on where The coking Plant Karolina was placed in Ostrava City in the past. It describes the development history of the site, the survey works performed in contaminated soil ground, the remediation technology of the soil ground and the back embedment of the treated soils. Finally it provides some proposals for the future site utilisation.
