Since 1st of January 2003 the Hungarian electricity market has been liberalized. A market simulator called MEKSZ (Hungarian Energy Trade Simulator) has been developed. This tool unifies the modelling of the physical network, the energy trading process and the market environment. The simulator is capable of testing different energy trading strategies.
