Physiological phase models for bioprocesses

摘要

An expert system was development for model development of bioprocesses. The experimental data are analysed by pattern recognition method before the patterns of process variables such as concentrations and specific rates is used to divided the whole cultivation into several physiological phases. The expert system uses rules to develop physiological phase models, which is valid only in one physiological phase, as well as the switching conditions from one to another phase. The expert system was tested with data from cultivation of Klebsiella terrigena.
