A coordinated campaign dedicated to the study of the urban boundary layer in conditions favourable to pollution events has been performed from December 1994 to March 1995 (ten intensive periods) in the Paris area. The IOP10, during 13 March and 14 March 1995, has been selected as a first analysis period as presenting an interesting meteorological variability and disposing of a complete data set (lidar, sodar, sonic anemometers, masts) at all sites.
