Analysis on Propulsion Performeance of the Trawler

摘要

This paper investigates propulsion for three types of trawlers of 8154, 8101 and 876 which are popularly used in the Northern China. From the annual production data, on the basis of the speed, trawling and economic performances, the working conditions of propeller design are stuided. Results of 34 propeller types showed taht: the optimum condition for the trawlers with the convntional propller is at its trawling speed; while the optimum condition for trawlers with fix-blade ducted propllers is at 5 kn.
