Physical and mathematical models, as well as the methods and results of numerical modelling of the radiative-gas dynamic processes in an optical plasma generator operating in the mode of radiative combustion of a continuous optical discharge, are discussed. The mathematical model is constructed in two dimensions and includes the Navier-Stokes equation, energy concervation, and laser and thermal radiation transfer equation in the multigroup approximation.
