Full modelling of industrial furnaces and boilers

摘要

For combustion studies of furnaces and boilers a computational model can be applied. A full model includes 3-D turbulent flow, flame chemistry, radiative heat transfer and the formation of soot and of pollutants, like NO. Turbulent fluctuations are taken into account, and are shown to have a large effect on thermal radiation and NO-formation.
