Extrusion Blow Molding High Gloss High Density Polyethylene Bottles

A high density polyethylene resin has been developed which can be extrusion blow molded into glossy bottles. These bottles maintain ESCR and column crush properties similar to standard HDPE blow molding resins but have four times the gloss. This combination of attributes allows the molder to gain the recyclability and cost savings of HDPE while increasing the shelf appeal of the bottles.
