摘要

In some cases, continuous small power disturbances can excite a low-frequency oscillation. Removal of disturbance source is the best way to rapidly damp the oscillation down. In this paper, a new method is proposed to locate disturbance source that is based on the space-time characteristics of low-frequency oscillation in the large-scale power grid. Meanwhile, a new principle for out-of-step oscillation center locating is also proposed, which is based on the angle difference of voltage phasors between both sides of the oscillation center. Then, a scheme of integrated oscillation control system for the large-scale power grid is designed, which has been tested by a detailed RTDS simulation and implemented in the actual engineering project. It is effective for both low-frequency and out-step oscillation.
