In this study, in the repair method of replacing the existing RC slabs from the upper surface with therestoration material, it was verified whether the chipping treatment by the water jet method of concretehas an appropriate effect on the improvement of fatigue durability. The verification method focused onthe depth of replacement of concrete from the top surface of the slabs. Using the specimen of the existingRC slabs in which the upper layer was replaced after the introduction of cracks, the integration propertyof the old and new concrete was evaluated by the wheel load running test. As a result, it was confirmedthat when the upper layer part of the existing RC slabs is replaced by the water jet method, permanentrepair effect can be expected by replacing the concrete to a position deeper than the upper reinforcingbar of the slabs.
