In order to improve the processing efficiency of profiled surface stones, this paper presented a new stone processing algorithm based on sawing rough machining on the stone. Through the digitization of sawing processing under three-dimensional surface, a series of two-dimensional curve were obtained, intersection calculation was performed by using section line method to intercept flat and three-dimensional surface, and obtaining the cutter contact path of the cutting knife path. This article described the calculation of cutting machining tool path planning and Cutter location in special sawing process, and made detailed introduction of the reasonable choice of the step size and line spacing in sawing processing. In the case of guaranteed accuracy, the sawing processing algorithm greatly improved the efficiency of rough machining for stone. The simulation and experimental results showed the feasibility of the algorithm and improving the degree of efficiency.
