A method is demonstrated for increasing the effective temporal resolution of neutron imaging, by averaging a consistent time window across multiple PEMFC operational cycles. Rapid water transients are captured during the current density and humidity changes of a cell durability protocol. The response of different cell components is compared by in-plane imaging, while temperature variation and upstream effects are observed by through-plane imaging of larger cells.
