Electric vehicles (EV) can be used not only as transportation equipment for people and goods but also for storing and transporting renewable energy. As a method to realize this philosophy, a new energy system named the "PV & EV smart system" through the use of photovoltaic power generation (PV) and EV has been proposed and its-effects have been clarified. In this paper, some new energy systems which combines PV, EVs and heat pump water heater (HPWH) are compared and studied. In these system, PV power is stored as electricity in the EV battery and as thermal energy in the HPWH. As a result, the most effective system is able to reduce CO_2 emissions by 75% with high economic efficiency IRR = 7.3% in comparison with the conventional system.
