In order to improve the test accuracy and efficiency for gun stabilization accuracy, a test system using CCD and standard target was designed. First, the composing and test principle of the system were introduced. According to the request of the system indexes, the main frame parameters of the optical system were analyzed and confirmed; the optical system was designed concretely and optimized using the wave-deviation method and the ZEMAX software. Then, the vehicle image recording and control unit was designed using high speed and great capacity storage technique, and its main technique indexes were analyzed. Finally, the main performance indexes of the test system were analyzed and validated by test. The test result indicates the test accuracy precedes 0.07mil, and the performance parameters meet the indexes request.
