摘要

The issues of climate change and rising electricity demand are the key factors for moving towards the renewable energy. The principal goal is to show the model-based methods of a grid-tied solar photovoltaic scheme for residential functions. This paper’s purpose is to design a grid connected solar PV rooftop system in Bhubaneswar, Odisha under different operating conditions. For this various studies have been done such as choice of site, choice of roof, PV placement, electrical design of string etc. with the help of System Advisor Model (SAM) and Solar Edge software. In this paper the roof of the building as well as the overall loss efficiency has been calculated by the design and simulation.
