摘要

The uncertainty and fluctuation characteristics of photovoltaic power pose great challenges to the safe operation and the peak-shaving process of power systems. Since cascade hydropower plants have flexible and rapid regulating capacity, a short-term peak-shaving model for coordinated cascade hydro and photovoltaic system (CHPVS) is proposed. Then, the proposed peak-shaving model is transformed into a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) problem, and the solution process is presented. Finally, a case study demonstrates the effective peak- shaving characteristics of CHPVS, and the feasibility and practicability of the proposed model are also validated.
