The decision-making process in selecting the available spectral frequencies by cognitive radio secondary users is an important and sensitive process at the same time. Therefore, there is a need to design a decision supporting system. In this article, two types of fuzzy logic Mamdani and Tsukamoto FIS will be used to support the selection of the most appropriate spectral frequency for usage by secondary users. Three input files were used, with a different number of bands. The input files consisted of 24, 50, and 100 bands respectively. As for the Mamdani method, it achieved an accuracy rate of 88%, 92%, and 91% for each of the input files correspondingly. Regarding the Tsukamoto method, it achieved an accuracy rate of 92%, 94%, and 95% for each of the input files, correspondingly. The Tsukamoto method has achieved better results than the Mamdani method in terms of selecting accurately the optimal spectrum frequency for each band in the three input files. Furthermore, the time for each method to implement the decision-making processes and choosing the best spectral frequencies was measured. However, the Tsukamoto method proved its advantage over the time of complexity.
