Study of Mixing in a Swirling Jet

摘要

This work studies the mixing process in a swirling jet flowing into a free space. The obtained results of the mixing coefficient experimental measurements for different swirler designs are compared with calculated, obtained by a numerical method. A satisfactory agreement is established while using the DES turbulence model in a non-stationary setting.
