摘要

To address the issue of complexity management of highly integrated ECUs for high functionality requirements in new generation smart vehicles, an open-system architecture called AUTOSAR (Automotive Open System Architecture) was founded by organizations, automobile manufacturers, suppliers and developers. It facilitates the reuse of software components between different vehicle platforms, and between OEMs and suppliers. The use of networks for communication between these electronic control units (ECU) for different applications have led to the development of a large number of automotive networks such as Local Interconnect Network(LIN), Controller Area Net- work(CAN), Flex Ray, media-oriented system transport(MOST), etc. Due to the limitations of these automotive networks to accommodate the smart vehicle functionalities, AUTOSAR is now switching to Ethernet. It uses TCP/IP (Internet Protocol) module within the AUTOSAR Com (communication) stack to send IP data between various software modules in AUTOSAR layered architecture. Thus we need an AUTOSAR compliant TCP/IP stack.
