The development of nano satellites is increasingly in demand among academics because the size and weight are not too large and have a lower risk for research purposes. At present, Telkom university is developing an IU type nanosatellite Cubesat with the name Tel-USat. The limited energy resources of nanosatellites from solar panels and batteries make the subsystem EPS (Electrical Power System) play an important role in regulating the power distribution to other payloads and subsystems effectively and efficiently. In the EPS of Tel-USat, there is a load switch feature in the 5V and 3.3V step down regulator output before the power enters the load. Load switch functions to turn off the load path if the battery voltage is at a certain value so that there is no waste of power and the battery can last longer when the satellite enters eclipse time.
