The characteristic of the digital age is the widespread application of digital technology. From the beginning of the realization of visual image presentation through digital technology, media communication gave digital technology to express tension, communication effect and market demand. Digital technology has also become an effective platform for displaying content in media, an innovative tool and a carrier of communication. Among them, web pages are a new type of information carrier, and web interfaces are used as a medium for digital design to interact with people. In the digital age of information-laden information, how to accurately and scientifically convey information has become a problem we need to pay attention to. The article first identified related concepts such as "image art", "webpage image" and "digital technology", and by comparing with traditional web design technology, it analyzes the advantages and characteristics of digital virtual media to present web images. Based on the scientific and effectiveness of web visual information transmission, from the scientific nature of user acceptance process, the effectiveness of web page component layout and natural user experience, the relevant interface design principles and methods are used to explain the scientific and effective visual information transmission on web pages specific application in design.
