1. SCICHEM ozone concentration compared well to St. Charles MERP for VOC precursor (when VOC was emitted as formaldehyde) 2. Ratio of ozone from NO_X to ozone from VOC was similar to MERPs ratios in Missouri (when VOC was emitted as formaldehyde) 3. Model results highlight the conservatism of using the same MERP value for both the Significant Impact Level (SIL) and National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) analyses.
