摘要

The present paper is to study the flow of unsteady free convection and transfer of mass passing through an infinite vertical porous plate with a chemical reaction by considering suction parameter and viscous dissipation if the plate moves in its plane. By introducing the similarity variables, the dimensional governing equations are converted to non-dimensional form and are solved numerically by Galerkin finite element method. The transfer of mass and heat has been studied by the flow parameters like Eckert number (Ec), suction (a), Grashof numbers (Gr,Gc), porosity parameter(α) and so on. The change of velocity, concentration and temperature due to these flow parameters are studied and graphical results are discussed.
