Discussion on the technology and application of next generation WDM system

摘要

With the new services development of 5G transport, cloud-network integration, private line, etc. the existing WDM technology can no longer meet the demand. Next generation WDM system, which has the characters of multi-rate access, low latency, end-to-end orchestrating, tiered service, will be a requisite. In this paper, the technical characteristics of the next generation WDM system will be proposed according to the new services requirements, and the application of the next generation WDM system in network will be discussed.
