摘要

Over the past few years, the advancement of microcontroller has opened the door to work it as a realtime data acquisition kit for a low-cost alternative. In this paper, an ultrasonic sensor is proposed as an input to NXP LCP1768 microcontroller which receives water-level from a water tank and sends data wirelessly over Wi-Fi. Another remotely placed Arduino microcontroller is used to display and to configure minimum and maximum water threshold level to automate pump control which is also Wi-Fi connected to the same Local Area Network (LAN). The NXP microcontroller can be accessed locally by an Android app, web browser and python application for monitoring realtime data and to control the pump connected to the relay of Arduino.
