Reservoir simulation was done for Light tight oil reservoir being developed using multi-stage fractured horizontal wells (4 producers, 3 injectors). Gas flooding (N2, C02, C1, and associated gas) and water flooding were studied using compositional fluid model. Dual medium option was applied for the zones with hydraulic fractures. All the work was done in Beicip-Franlab Software (PumaFlow, PVTFlow, CobraFlow, CougarFlow that are fully integrated to the OpenFlow Suite platform). The new modeling technique of zones with hydraulic fractures using Dual medium option was justified fully. This enables to reduce the CPU time compared with modeling of hydraulic fractures explicitly by local grid refinement.
