摘要

Hybrid Electric Vehicles combine two methods for propelling a vehicle. To generate the required torque, a combination of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and an Electric Motor is used in an HEV. For optimal switching and controlling of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is proposed in this paper. To achieve the desired speed from Motor or IC Engine in a very short time FLC is used. The SIMULINK/MATLAB package is used for controller simulation. Based on the actual speed for driving, demanded torque and state of charge of battery, the controller will be designed. The key point for efficient driving of vehicle is the power sharing between the ICE and the electric motor. The hardware setup for electric propulsion system is done. A very good performance is rendered by the simulation and experimental setup.
