As part of the study of the void space of bituminous shale deposits,the structure of the void space and pore morphometric parameters were changed by the method of computer X-ray microtomography in full-sized undestructed core samples of domanic deposits of two collections.A comparison was also made of the void space before and after chloroform extraction.Based on the studies,it became possible to identify the dependence in the structure of the pore space on the presence of the mineral matrix,lithological composition and volume occupied by bitumoids The first applied complex method combining microtomography and geochemical studies of chloroform extracted bitumen from domanic samples allowed,according to the data obtained,the porosity values in non-destroyed samples after bitumen extraction to increase significantly.It can also be concluded that the formation of pores is likely due to the exceptional role in the conversion of organic matter to micron oil.The determination of geochemical and petrophysical parameters from the destroyed samples significantly distorts the data that can be used in the calculation of reserves using the volumetric method or the calculation using pyrolytic data
