摘要

Superfluid helium nanodroplets are fascinating matrix media for spectroscopy of coldmolecules at a temperature of 0.4 K.Due to superfluidity,the interior of helium droplets hasalmost zero viscosity and extremely weak interactions with the dopant molecules even in thecondensed phase.By capturing neutral molecules inside helium droplets,we can observe wellresolvedspectra in their rovibrationally states.Similar spectroscopic characters are expectedfor molecular ions without significant perturbation.The unique properties of helium dropletsare expected to enhance the study of ultracold molecular ion dynamics being performed withour cryogenic storage ring,RICE (RIKEN Cryogenic Electrostatic ring).
