摘要

Chitosan is one of the most attractive polymers for application in the medical field,because it is derived from natural compounds,and it shows biocompatibility and anti-bacterialproperty.However,its film is normally hard and brittle,then it limits the application.In orderto overcome this weak point,many composite chitosan films with other materials such aspolyethylene oxide and poly(ε-caprolactone) have been reported.1,2 Poly(trimethylenecarbonate) (PTMC) is also expected use in the medical field which is biodegradable and softdue to low glass transition temperature.Furthermore,it has improved strain of poly(lactic acid)by copolymerization and blending.3 Therefore,we considered that intrinsic flexibility andelongation of chitosan film could be improved by blending of PTMC.Moreover,no compositematerial using chitosan and PTMC has been reported yet to the best of our knowledge.
